02 - 1 cup boiling water
03 - 1/2 cup cold water

→ White Layer

04 - 1 package (3 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
05 - 1 1/4 cups cold milk
06 - 1 cup whipped topping, plus additional for garnish if desired

→ Blue Layer

07 - 1 package (3 oz) berry blue-flavored gelatin
08 - 1 cup boiling water
09 - 1/2 cup cold water

→ Garnish (optional)

10 - Fresh berries, such as blueberries and strawberries
11 - Additional whipped topping
12 - Sprinkles

# How to Make It:

01 - In a medium bowl, thoroughly dissolve the red gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Stir in 1/2 cup cold water. Evenly pour the mixture into 8 small clear cups. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, until fully set.
02 - In a separate bowl, whisk instant vanilla pudding mix with 1 1/4 cups cold milk until smooth and thickened, about 2 minutes. Gently fold in 1 cup whipped topping. Once the red layer is firm, spoon the white pudding mixture evenly over each cup. Chill for 30 minutes.
03 - Dissolve the blue gelatin in 1 cup boiling water, then stir in 1/2 cup cold water. Once the white layer is set, slowly pour or gently spoon the blue gelatin on top to cover the previous layer.
04 - Place the cups in the refrigerator for an additional 2 to 3 hours until all layers are completely firm and set.
05 - Just before serving, top each cup with more whipped topping, fresh berries, and sprinkles, if desired.

  • If you rush adding the next layer before the last is firm, colors may bleed and ruin those beautiful stripes.
  • Waiting for each layer to set completely is a test of patience, but it ensures pristine lines and a perfect reveal.
03 -
  • For extra sharp layers, use a piping bag for pudding and pour gelatins down the side of the cup.
  • If you want vivid colors, use clear cups and chill them uncovered—the condensation vanishes but the layers stay vibrant.
