01 - Arrange chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker.
02 - Whisk together barbecue sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper in a mixing bowl until well combined.
03 - Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
04 - Cover and cook on low heat for 4 to 5 hours or on high heat for 2 to 3 hours, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and is tender throughout.
05 - Remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred using two forks. Return shredded chicken to the cooker and stir thoroughly to coat with sauce. Serve hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley if desired.
