01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Keeping the rolls together, slice the entire block horizontally with a serrated knife to form a top and bottom half.
03 - Place the bottom half of the rolls, cut side up, on the prepared baking sheet. Arrange cheddar cheese slices evenly over the rolls. Add deli ham or turkey if desired.
04 - Lay the top half of the rolls over the fillings to form a sandwich block.
05 - Combine melted butter with mustard, honey, and garlic powder if using. Brush the tops of the rolls with the butter mixture using a pastry brush.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
07 - Remove from oven and cool for 2 minutes. Slice into individual sandwiches and serve warm.
