01 - Rinse the fresh dandelion petals and leaves thoroughly under cold running water to remove any dirt or debris.
02 - Bring the filtered water to a rolling boil in a small saucepan or kettle.
03 - Place the cleaned dandelion petals and leaves in a teapot or heatproof container.
04 - Pour the boiling water over the dandelions, cover completely, and allow to steep for 8 to 10 minutes.
05 - Strain the infused tea into cups, discarding the plant material. Add honey or lemon if desired and serve hot.
